Community participation is essential to the success of Colfax Corridor Connections. The project team has and will continue to forge many partnerships within the community to engage those who work, live, travel and play around East Colfax. The following programs engage a broad and diverse group of people interested in improved mobility within the corridor.
Community Partnership Program: A network of organizations (e.g. neighborhood groups, business groups, recreation centers, churches, universities) are partnering with us to share information about the project with their memberships and encourage participation. These organizations will provide project information (e.g. newsletter articles, handouts, presentations) to their members at important project milestones. Barbershop/Coffeeshop Tour: Information about Colfax Corridor Connections is available at easily identifiable community gathering places on East Colfax.
