Hundreds of people are expected to attend the 2nd Annual GIVE Denver Masquerade Ball presented by Suncor Energy at the Eastside Denver Human Services (DHS) office located at 3815 Steele St. on Saturday, October 13 at 7 p.m.
The event includes an evening filled with live music by Jakarta, dancing, scrumptious food from The Food Guy, wine and beer, photo booth and a silent auction featuring masks painted by residents of the Family Crisis Center, a residential treatment program for youth. Also, guests will have the opportunity to mingle with Mary Louise Hancock, public officials and business leaders. Tickets are still available for purchase at www.denvergov.org/GIVE and will be available at the door.
The Masquerade Ball will benefit GIVE Denver, a human services program that provides foster children, the homeless and other families in need with basic necessities, holiday gifts and school supplies when they do not have their full needs met through DHS’ regular assistance programs thanks to donations and volunteers.
