Every day, foster parents stand up for children in our community by opening their home and their hearts to children in need of temporary parental care. Foster parents have many roles. One of the most critical is offering protection and basic provisions for children until their parents are ready and able to ensure those needs are met. You don’t have to be rich, married, or own a home to be a foster parent; you simply need to be financially stable and willing to help a child.

Become a mentor to a youth in foster care through CHOICE
CHOICE serves youth ages 12-18 who are in foster care and are unable to return home. A connection with a caring adult makes a difference for these youth and can lead to permanency. For those adults who wish to help but are unable to commit to the full-time role as a foster parent, CHOICE offers opportunities for them to mentor a youth while building a lasting relationship, support a youth through their challenges and celebrate their successes, and advocate for a youth by committing to helping them find permanency.
