With more than 15 years of marketing and public relations experience in the public, private, and non-profit sectors, Jenny heads up the Denver Marketing Office, which leads the city’s global marketing and branding efforts. Her favorite things about Denver are its unique neighborhoods, diverse cultural vibe, and a little-known sports team called the Denver Broncos.
Gaelina is the first native (on the page) hailing from Northeast Parkhill. She clocks in as the longest serving member and brain trust for all things Denver branding. Her tenure started with the city in 2008 when she just barely received her workers permit at 15 years old *wink*. Shortly before that, she received her degree from Metropolitan State University in History. As Brand Manager, she is proud to be involved in some of the city’s major marketing campaigns as the office strives to provide top-notch initiatives, programs, and services to Denver’s residents. During her free time, you can catch her with her husband and young daughter, watching movies, camping, exploring Denver’s best restaurants, and time with friends and family.
Karen has been webmaster at the city for nearly 5 years and comes to the city with a diverse background in web and graphic design but with a previous background in architecture, interior design, and art history. She previously hales from Cajun country in Lafayette, Louisiana where she danced nightly, ate a lot of crawfish, met her college sweetheart, and obtained a degree in Interior Architecture. Thoroughly enjoying her second home of Denver for over 10 years now, she now lives for the Colorado life of hiking, biking, camping, and blissing out on a patio in beautiful Cap Hill. During football season, her team love is split between the Saints and the Broncos.
Chad has been with the city since 2013 and is a true Denver native. He has a degree in Communication Design from Metropolitan State University and a Masters in Organizational and Professional Communication from the University of Denver. When he is not making websites more user-friendly he likes going to movies with his son, concerts with his wife, and long walks with his dogs. During football season do not bother him when the Broncos are on. Go Broncos.
The second millennial and third native Coloradan on the team, Chelsea focuses on Technology Services communication efforts both internally to the department’s 300+ employees and externally to the city’s 13000+. When not formatting, streamlining and disseminating information, Chelsea can be found at a Farmers’ Market, hiking and biking, or doing field research at local breweries and coffee shops. Though not a football fan, Chelsea does enjoy smack talking any team that is not the Broncos.
