Colorado Lottery and Great Outdoors Colorado Help Fund New West Denver Park

Built on what used to be an abandoned lot, and in partnership with Great Outdoors Colorado & the Colorado Lottery, Cuatro Vientos Park is the first to come to Denver’s Westwood neighborhood in 30 years.

Denver Parks and Recreation Completes Additional Park Designations

More than 660 acres of parks, parkways and natural areas are now designated, representing approximately 83 percent of all Denver-owned open space within the city limits.

The monthly Parks & Recreation Advisory Board (PRAB) meeting has been canceled for December. Meetings are open to the public, held on the second Thursday of every month and will resume on January 8th.

Cuatro Vientos/Four Winds Park Opens in Denver’s Westwood Neighborhood

The City and County of Denver, residents and leaders from the Westwood community celebrated the official opening of Cuatro Vientos/Four Winds Park.  The community commemorated the opening of the park with a neighborhood celebration featuring cultural performances, healthy activities for kids and adults, and an official ribbon-cutting ceremony.
