About Denver’s Pedestrian Program Part of the Transportation & Mobility division of Denver Public Works, the Pedestrian Program studies and designs walking facilities within the City and County of Denver, and monitors the safety and efficiency of the transportation network for pedestrians and people with disabilities.

Pedestrian planners also support elements of major capital and infrastructure projects, Parks & Recreation projects, and coordinate with Community Planning & Development to ensure access and connectivity is maintained between all areas of the city.
