New survey: Where should Denver build new sidewalks and trails?

The Denver Moves: Pedestrians & Trails plan Prioritization Survey is now live, and residents can share feedback on how Denver should prioritize the construction of new trails and sidewalks.

Community feedback over the past year has identified several key goals for improving and supporting the pedestrian and recreational environments in Denver:

  • accessibility for users of all ages and abilities
  • connectivity to other walkways and trails
  • direct destination access
  • equitable access to quality pedestrian amenities in low-income and health- compromised neighborhoods
  • safety

With those goals in mind, the Denver Moves team is asking how residents would like to begin planning for new construction, what areas they think will be most important to invest in, and how potential funding could be directed. Responses will help the planners ensure that future prioritization efforts, to be laid out in the final Denver Moves: Pedestrians & Trails plan, reflect the values of the community.

The survey was open through October 6.
