Organa Labs Voluntarily Recalls Marijuana Products Due to Pesticide Residues

A Denver marijuana-infused manufacturing business, Allied Concessions doing business as Organa Labs, is voluntarily recalling O.Pen Vape marijuana products due to the potential presence of unsafe pesticide residues. The recall affects an undetermined amount of individual units of marijuana concentrates that are used for vaporizing.

Samples of marijuana infused products contained residual levels of Imidacloprid, Myclobutanil, Etoxazole, and/or Avermectin, pesticides the Colorado Department of Agriculture has determined cannot be used legally on marijuana in Colorado.

The Organa Labs products subject to the recall were distributed throughout Colorado and bear the following label information:

Organa Labs is voluntarily recalling additional marijuana-infused products that were derived from potentially contaminated plant material purchased from Western Remedies (403R-00005), Rocky Mountain Farmacy (403R-00011), and 5110 Race (403R-00318), three cultivation facilities in Denver doing business as Strainwise.

Samples of marijuana infused products at three other Denver marijuana-infused product manufacturing businesses that were created from plant material harvested from the same cultivation facilities during the same timeframe had residual levels of Imidacloprid, Myclobutanil, Spiromefesin, and/or Avermectin, pesticides the Colorado Department of Agriculture has determined cannot be used legally on marijuana in Colorado.

The additional Organa Labs products subject to the recall were distributed throughout Colorado and bear the following label information (labels would list “Cultivated by” #s of 403R-00005, 403R-00011, and/or 403R-00318):
