June 2018 Primary Election

Democrats, republicans and unaffiliated voters are eligible to participate. This is the first-time unaffiliated voters are eligible to participate in the Primary Election. Unaffiliated voters without a party preference will receive a democratic and republican ballot in their packet. Unaffiliated voters should vote with one ballot and return one ballot--returning two ballots will invalidate both. You can vote by mail; ballots were mailed to active voters the week of June 4, 2018.

Annual Pay Survey Market Analysis Approved

The Office of Human Resources (OHR) performs an annual market analysis of pay in the Denver metropolitan area each year to determine what pay survey adjustments should be recommended for occupational groups and/or individual classifications covered by the city’s classification and pay plan. The recommendations have been approved to implement. Employees below minimum will receive their new pay rate effective 7/1/2018, reflected in the 7/13/2018 paycheck.

Technology Services (TS) needs your help naming the city’s employee intranet ! As a reminder, an intranet is a private website accessible only to a designated group (in this case, City and County of Denver employees). DOT was the city’s intranet platform for the last decade before transitioning to SharePoint in December 2017. As the intranet is improved and enhanced, TS is soliciting you for ideas on what to call the city’s one-stop communication shop. Some examples of other intranet names include Fetch (San Diego Humane Society), Passport (TripAdvisor) and CityNet (City of Winipeg). Submit your name idea(s)!

The Denver Employee Bulletin (DEB) is produced weekly by the Office of Human Resources. All information to be included in the DEB must be approved by the department/agency public information officer, communications team or department/agency leadership.

Submissions must be sent via the DEB Submission form by the Friday prior to the next week’s publication. The DEB is published weekly, every Tuesday in the late afternoon. Most DEB content will play on #CCDigital signage. Email questions to the Denver Employee Bulletin.
