Bilingual Community Active Living Summit

The Denver Active Living Coalition, facilitated by Denver Department of Public Health and Environment (DDPHE), will host the Community Active Living Summit . The event will feature a variety of educational sessions and panels all focused on creating active, healthy neighborhoods in Denver. Sessions will focus on walking and biking, youth engagement and development, Vision Zero and city health policies, and using data for positive change. Speakers and facilitators include representatives from DDPHE, Bicycle Colorado, Denver Public Works, WalkDenver, beWell Health and Wellness Initiative, Groundwork Denver, Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment, RTD and more.

DERP’s 2018 Advisory Committee Election – Voting is Open!

The Denver Employees Retirement Plan (DERP) Advisory Committee Election time is here. DERP is governed by a five-person Board appointed by Mayor Michael B. Hancock for staggered six-year terms. Additionally, there is a four-member Advisory Committee to the Retirement Board. Three members of the Advisory Committee are elected by the DERP membership for staggered three-year terms, and one member is appointed by the Career Service Board. New $10 Discounted RTD EcoPass Takes the Work Out of Getting to Work

As employees of the City and County of Denver, we’re always looking for more ways to show our city some love. With the RTD EcoPass, you not only save a ton on a stress-free transit ride, you also help reduce traffic congestion, allowing our city to breathe a little easier. It’s proof positive that with the EcoPass, you’ll spend less and get more. The RTD EcoPass monthly rate has been reduced to $10 per month for City and County of Denver employees!

The Denver Employee Bulletin (DEB) is produced weekly by the Office of Human Resources. All information to be included in the DEB must be approved by the department/agency public information officer, communications team or department/agency leadership.

Submissions must be sent via the DEB Submission form by the Friday prior to the next week’s publication. The DEB is published weekly, every Tuesday in the late afternoon. Most DEB content will play on #CCDigital signage. Email questions to the Denver Employee Bulletin.

The primary audience for #CCDigital is City and County of Denver employees, not residents or the public. Please note that notices of retirement parties, requests for donated sick leave, or other personal requests will not be distributed citywide. These notices should be circulated only within the originating departments or agencies if consistent with departmental policies and management approval.
