Paying online?

The City of Denver recently implemented a security enhancement to better protect our online payment processing system.  As a result of this enhancement, we are no longer able to accept payments from non-current browsers. If you are using an older browser version, please upgrade your browser to the most current version so that you can access the online payment service.

Changes that Affect December Paychecks Must be Received by November 25

The city currently utilizes PeopleSoft to process your benefits, paycheck, and personal information. It is necessary to freeze the majority of HR and payroll transactions that are performed in PeopleSoft as we migrate to Workday, which will go-live January 3, 2017.

The freeze period will start on 11/25/16 and will continue up to the go-live Workday date on 1/3/2017. During the freeze many HR and payroll operations that are normally performed in PeopleSoft will be suspended. If you wish to add, remove or change anything that affects your paychecks in December, you must have all your requests completed by November 25, 2016. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Home address change
  • Health savings account (HSA) contribution change
  • Deferred Compensation Plan 457(b) contribution change
  • Direct deposit change
  • Form W-4 change

For a complete list of actions that will freeze starting November 25, visit the PeopleSoft Freeze webpage. Once the freeze is lifted, you can perform many of these requests directly through Workday.

Any requests for changes during the freeze period must be approved by the Executive Director of the Office of Human Resources, Karen Niparko.
