Revised Rule 13 and 2017 Merit Program

The Career Service Board approved the update to Rule 13 PAY FOR PERFORMANCE on Thursday, November 3, 2017.  

The revised rule will change the way merit is distributed and is designed to reward top performers by balancing the distribution across the salary quartiles. The new merit program is a progressive step in bringing us closer to being a pay for performance organization.
