Denver Parks and Recreation, DaVita and Bicycle Colorado have teamed up to offer Denver youth bicycle education in Denver's 27 recreation centers. MY Denver Bikes is being offered as a part of the city's MY Denver Card program and will teach youth ages 11-14 how to assemble, maintain and safely use their bikes to get around their neighborhood and other locations like school and their local parks and recreation center. Those who participate in all 5 days of the session will take home a brand new 26-inch mountain bike complete with helmet and lock, courtesy of DaVita.
