The Denver Police Department will be changing their district and precinct boundaries on Sunday July 14th.
The main goals of this effort are to:
The changeover will be virtually seamless, so the public should not notice any adverse impact to their calls for service. The new maps will be available online for public viewing on Sunday July 14, 2013 as soon as the changes take effect.

Christina Ashley, a veteran member of the Unit, decided that because of the huge influx of sex offender registrations, she would take on the responsibility for sex offender de-registrations starting in June of 2011. This was a monumental undertaking! During the last two years, while working closely with Detective Bourgeois, she has been going through, fixing, modifying, and cataloging all of the de-registrations of Denver’s sex offenders, and has been diligently working at getting them into proper order. In April of 2012, the Robbery Unit, along with Mr. Gray, was merged with the Homicide/Cold Case Unit. Since then, Mr. Gray has used his talents and background to assist Detectives with such areas as suspect identification, recovery of digital/video evidence, crime patterns, crime predictions, crime mapping, and social media research, just to name a few. In addition, whenever he is called in the middle of the night, he immediately responds with the needed intelligence information. The parties pictured were involved in a theft from motor vehicle that occurred in the 1300 block Of N. Washington St. on March 13, 2013 where the victim’s credit card was taken. The suspects then attempted to charge over $300 on the victim’s credit card at the Wal-Mart located at 9901 Grant St. in Thornton and at the corner store located at 3490 N. April 27th is the DEA’s (Drug Enforcement Administration’s) National Prescription Take-Back Day. Find the nearest drop off point. Also, the 2013 Shred-a-thon will be held at five locations in the Denver-metro area on May 18th, from 7 a.m. to noon. The Denver location is KUSA 9NEWS, 500 Speer Blvd. For a voluntary contribution, participants can dispose of personal and financially sensitive documents such as old tax returns, bank statements, credit cards and legal documents. Spanning the dates of August 11, 2012 and April 2, 2013, the suspect pictured below has robbed several locations at gunpoint in the Northwest Denver area.
