District Commander Michael Calo

Commander Michael Calo brings a combined 33 years of law enforcement experience to the position of District Two Commander. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force Security Police, joining the Denver Police Department in 1985. Commander Calo has worked in many capacities during his tenure with the Denver Police Department, serving over 6 years as the captain in charge of the Denver Gang Bureau prior promotion to District Two Commander.

Neighborhood Resources

Community Resource Officers provide community assistance on issues such as neighbor disputes, public nuisances, zoning issues, fraud and crime prevention and other neighborhood concerns.  Community Resource Officers attend regular meetings with neighborhood organizations to provide training on issues pertaining, but not limited to: the Neighborhood Watch program, commercial and home security, gang awareness, crime prevention, and more.
