Through the Food Recovery Challenge, the EPA is partnering with organizations and businesses to prevent and reduce waste food. Challenge participants save money, help communities, and protect the environment by purchasing less, donating extra food, and composting.  For more information on how you can reduce food waste visit EPA website Food Recovery Challenge.
