Wastewater Capital Projects Management is responsible for the planning, design and construction of citywide sanitary sewer infrastructure, storm sewer and drainage projects, and major water quality and flood-related waterway improvements. The Department of Public Works coordinates with federal, state and local agencies, environmental organizations, and private developers as well as other agencies within the City and County of Denver to ensure that our wastewater facilities can meet the area's growing needs while meeting or exceeding regulatory requirements.
In an effort to ensure access to retail and dining establishments during the holiday season and provide the best experience possible for patrons, Denver Public Works will refrain from issuing right of way permits for new construction work in critical retail locations from November 22, 2017 to January 2, 2018.
