Plan adopted in 2003
The Shattuck Superfund Site is a 6.9 acre area, encompassing a 5.9 acre parcel plus public right-of-ways and other associated hot spots. The focus of the analysis is the 5.9 acre parcel which is located on the northwest corner of Bannock Street and Jewel Avenue. The Plan context area is a neighborhood with a mix of uses, bounded by Iowa Avenue, Evans Avenue, Santa Fe Drive and Broadway.
The primary purpose of the plan is to establish long-range goals and objectives for the development and stabilization of the Shattuck site and neighborhood once the site is environmentally clean.
