The purpose of the System Performance Committee is to analyze the functioning of the criminal justice system at the seven major decision points, coordinate systems through technology, ongoing system mapping and make recommendations to the Commission about system-wide policy, intermediate sanctions and alternatives to sentencing, programmatic and operational improvements.
The Committee makes recommendations to the Commission and provides oversight of Crime Prevention and Control Fund expenditures for evidence-based system change including training, programs and sanctions and procedures that will reduce offender risk and recidivism.
