County Jail Life Skills Program

The Denver County Jail Life Skills Program aims to reduce recidivism among misdemeanants through education and job readiness training.  Currently, classes for this population include: GED preparation, Life Skills and Job Readiness Training, Parenting, Basic Computer Skills, and Self Regulation Skills Building.

Personal accountability is one of the cornerstones of an individual's success.  Diversion Officers determine client eligibility, conduct client intakes, provide case management and transition assistance upon a client's release.

The Denver County Jail Diversion Team can be reached by calling (720) 913-3705 or (720) 913-3713.
