Certifiably Green Denver provides free, confidential, non-regulatory environmental assistance to Denver’s business community. The program helps auto repair shops, restaurants and office and retail spaces find opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability while minimizing environmental liability through pollution prevention.
How The Program Works
Sustainability advisors are provided at no cost and begin by visiting your business to complete a comprehensive assessment identifying:
- Water conservation options
- Energy efficiency options
- Practices to minimize waste generation and disposal costs
- Other sustainable practices that will save money and positively affect your public image with customers
After your assessment is complete, your advisor will work with you to prioritize and implement practices that benefit your business. Program advisors are available to provide assistance whether you are interested in single measures or overall certification.
