Denver Animal Shelter and Animal Care & Control hosts final pet vaccination/license clinics in Denver Parks

Clinics offer pet owners low-cost, convenient way to vaccinate and license pets

It’s not too late to get your pet vaccinated and licensed this year, as Denver Animal Shelter and Animal Care & Control is hosting the final summer vaccination/license clinics in Denver Parks.

In honor or World Rabies Day the cost will be reduced to $25  for cat or dog vaccinations and includes rabies and distemper combo vaccinations, and a one-year pet license. To get a new license, or renew an expired pet license, the cost is $15 for one year or $40 for three years. Microchips will also be available for $25 per pet.

  • September 25 - Thomas Park (northeast corner of the parking lot – E 26th Ave and N Roslyn St.) 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

 

Additionally, Denver Animal Care & Control offers pet vaccination and license clinics weekly at the Denver Animal Shelter on Wednesdays (dogs) from 2:30 to 4:45 p.m. and Thursdays (cats) from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at 1241 W. Bayaud Ave.  No reservations are necessary, and the clinics are available to all. 

All cats and dogs over 6 months old residing in Denver or using Denver dog parks must be licensed and vaccinated.  Licenses can be obtained or renewed online.

Denver Animal Care and Control is dedicated to providing education for the protection of pets and people, providing humane animal care at the Denver Animal Shelter, reuniting lost pets with their owners and finding adoptable pets new homes, the enforcement of laws relating to animals in the City and County of Denver, and animal disease control.
