If your pet is impounded by Denver Animal Care and Control, you will need to visit to 1241 W. Bayaud Ave during business hours (Monday - Saturday 11 am - 6:00 to reclaim your pet. The shelter is closed Sundays and holidays. You may also call us during business hours at (720) 913-1311 or 311.
What will I need to bring to pick up my pet?
1. A driver's license or ID with your current address. If your address is not current, please provide paperwork with proof of current address.
2. You will need to pay the fee by cash, Visa or MasterCard.
3. Your pet's rabies vaccination certificate and spay / neuter certificate is required.
4. Proof of ownership such as photos or veterinary records

The redemption fees include impoundment, boarding and a medical service fee. Fees for subsequent impoundments increase incrementally.
