
On Tuesday, December 12, 2011, Robert C. White was sworn in as the 69
th Chief of Police for the Denver Police Department. Chief White comes to Denver after serving nearly nine years as Chief of Police of the Louisville Metro Police Department. The Louisville Metro Police Department was created on January 6, 2003 with the merger of the Louisville Police Department and the Jefferson County Police Department.
