Construction is underway on the rehabilitation of Colfax Avenue between Sheridan and Federal Boulevards as part of the Better Denver Bond Program approved by voters in 2007

Denver Public Works began rehabilitation on Phase III of South Broadway between Iowa and Wesley Avenues, as part of the Better Denver Bond program. This phase will complete the middle piece of the corridor as well as reconstructing Evans Avenue from Bannock Street to South Broadway.

Starting Wednesday, October 12, Denver Public Works will begin converting Larimer Street, north of downtown, from a one-way southbound street to a two-way roadway between Broadway and Downing Street. There will be no changes to Larimer Street south of Broadway; for example, Larimer Square in the Central Business District downtown will not be impacted by this conversion.

The Denver LeafDrop Program, a service of Denver Public Works Solid Waste Management, will once again provide Denver residents with the opportunity to recycle their leaves this fall. This year’s program will include Saturday and Sunday drops sites as well as weekday drop sites, so no matter what day of the week residents choose to start raking, there will be a drop site available.
