Online Campaign Finance Filing

Welcome to Denver's new online campaign finance reporting system. Candidates and organizations, seeking to participate in an election in the City and County of Denver, must be registered with the Clerk and Recorder's Office and must file campaign finance forms and reports by required deadlines. Campaign finance forms and reports must be filed online, through the Denver Campaign Finance Online Reporting System.Campaign finance reporting in Denver is governed by Article 3, Section 15 of the Denver Revised Municipal Code.

Campaign finance reporting for school board candidates and for special district candidates transferred to the Colorado Secretary of State's office effective January 1, 2010.

School board and special district members and candidates must report campaign finance activity through the Secretary of State's online reporting system.

Campaign Finance Resources for School Board Candidates

  • Candidate committees must file this report electronically. The Denver Elections Division will email all active committees about 30 days ahead of the deadline with information on accessing their online spreadsheet.
  • This report is due on January 31 of the following year.
  • This requirement does not apply to committees that have already zeroed out their bank balances and filed a final report.
