• Clerk and Recorder Election Rules

    The Clerk and Recorder will conduct a public hearing on January 6, 2015 on proposed rules concerning elections under the authority of Section 8.1.2(E) of the Charter of the City and County Denver.

    The following Clerk and Recorder election rules are currently in effect, enacted June 6, 2012. The twin purposes of these rules are to make all election-related processes and procedures clear and transparent to candidates, petitioners' committees and the public; and to document current procedures that are not specified by statute, ordinance or Charter.
