 Wellness Champions Update Minimize

Tips for being a superstar Wellness Champion!

  • Promote using healthy snacks like fruit, nuts, and whole wheat baked goods at meetings and agency celebrations
  • Encourage your co-worker when they make a healthy effort-- offer to be a work out buddy, congratulate them on their successes
  • If you notice your colleague hasn't moved from their seat for hours, ask them if they would like to take a break together-- fill up your water bottle, look out a window, walk around a bit.

Wellness Champions represent their agencies at quarterly meetings with the wellness staff. They give us recommendations, suggestions and input about how our programs are doing. If you would like to become a wellness champion for your agency, please send us an email at wellness@denvergov.org
