Eco Pass Update

Please Note: Bus and light rail passes for the month of March have been mailed to participants home address.

Earlier this year, the City moved to RTD's Eco Pass Program.  The Eco Pass Program allows you to ride any of RTD's bus or train routes by presenting your City-issued ID  badge and Eco Pass sticker.  As the Eco Pass contract was being finalized, many of you have been utilizing monthly bus and light rail passes.

Paid Time Off (PTO) Program

The City and County of Denver is moving to a Paid Time Off (PTO) plan effective January 1, 2010. Instead of accruing sick and vacation leave in separate banks, hours will accrue into a single bank that may be used for either purpose.

The PTO plan is one of the recommendations provided as part of the Total Compensation Study com pleted this year. The plan provides flexibility to employees, supports the work-life balance valued by our employee community and is a sustainable and effective change for our compensation system.
