The Denver County Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) will officially kick-off the season by hosting a Heating Fair on Thursday, November 1, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Denver Human Services, 1200 Federal Boulevard. LEAP helps households that qualify by paying a portion of their home heating bills between Nov. 1- April 30.
Denver County LEAP staff will be available to help customers apply for heating assistance and provide emergency assistance for people with a shut-off notice. Customers will be able to get help with shut-off notices, watch home warming tip demonstrations, learn about ways to safely heat their homes, and more.
