Mayor Michael B. Hancock and Denver Broncos Linebacker Wesley Woodyard will team up Monday night to host a special toy drive reception at the Downtown Aquarium to benefit at-risk youth served by the Denver Human Services GIVE Denver program and the 16 Ways Foundation.
Guests will have an opportunity to meet Mayor Hancock and Woodyard, snack on delicacies and participate in a silent auction featuring Denver Broncos items.
The event is open to the public and children are welcome. Tickets are $25 for guests that bring a new, unwrapped toy or $50 for general entrance to the reception. Tickets may be purchased at the door or in advance at www.DenverGov.org/GIVE or http://16waysfoundation.eventbrite.com/#.
Toys will be donated to GIVE Denver and proceeds will benefit the 16 Ways Foundation.
