Free Parent Seminars to be Offered During Child Abuse Prevention Month

In honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month, Denver Human Services will host free Love and Logic Parenting seminars throughout April to provide simple solutions and techniques to help parents with children of any age. The parenting seminars are part of a variety of monthly activities throughout the Denver community to strengthen families.

“Strengthening parents and family are key tools in the prevention of child abuse,” said Penny May, manager of Denver Human Services. “We invite parents to take the time to learn what is age appropriate, so they are prepared for any situation that arises.”
