Community members looking for an opportunity to help the homeless will be able to easily make a donation by swiping their debit or credit card or dropping spare change at any of the Better Way to Give donation smart meters located throughout the city. Denver’s Road Home, in partnership with IPS Group, Wyless, Arrow Electronics and Denver Public Works, will replace the existing red donation meters with new, light blue donation smart meters capable of accepting both debit and credit card and change donations.

Denver Human Services and City Councilwoman Peggy Lehmann are hosting the Become Their Champion event from 9 a.m. – noon on June 14 at the Eisenhower Recreation Center. This free event will feature Age of Champions documentary, hands-on workshops, interactive resource fair and continental breakfast.
