Child Abuse Prevention Month Mini-Grants
April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness about preventing child abuse and neglect across the country. The Prevention Services program at Denver Human Services is dedicated to creating awareness about this important issue and to finding ways to prevent child abuse and neglect from ever occurring.
To further expand our community engagement and educational outreach in the community, DHS is providing community organizations interested in promoting Child Abuse Prevention Month events in April 2015 the opportunity to apply for $1,500 mini-grants to support their efforts. Grants are open to any community organization serving the Denver area or Denver residents.
Applications are due to DHS by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 6, 2015.
