Community Task Force

The Colfax Corridor Connections Community Task Force is comprised of individuals representing neighborhood organizations and business interests within the corridor. The task force will meet up to six times during the study – once during each of the four public-meeting milestones with one or two additional meetings, if needed, to help provide additional input. 

This group provides an important connection between the project team and the community and its input will help inform the process. The Community Task Force is also an important resource for sharing project information with the constituents they represent. The Colfax Corridor Connections team is wrapping up a year of technical analysis of the project’s three remaining alternatives (Enhanced Bus, Bus Rapid Transit and Modern Streetcar) as part of the transit Alternatives Analysis phase of the project. This summer/fall, the City will provide the public with additional information and feedback opportunities on the available options for improving mobility in the East Colfax Avenue travel corridor now and over the next 25 years.
