Yale Corridor Traffic Study


The Yale Avenue Corridor Traffic Study is a cooperative technical study by the City and County of Denver and Arapahoe County. 
The two primary purposes of the study are:
  • Evaluate the effects of the recently-completed Wabash Street Bridge across Cherry Creek and the realignment of the intersection of Yale Avenue/Syracuse Way on Yale Avenue traffic patterns
  • Identify Yale Avenue potential improvements to enhance efficiency and safety for automobiles, buses, light rail, bicycles and pedestrians between South Dahlia Street & Syracuse Way

Next Steps

  • Prepare study report incorporating public comments 
  • Denver and Arapahoe County will work together to prioritize improvements
  • Identify funding, complete design and implement high priority improvements
