Environmentally-Friendly Transportation Options for Denver Inaugural Concertgoers 

DENVER—The Denver community is invited to attend a free inaugural celebration concert hosted by Mayor John Hickenlooper TONIGHT, Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at 6:30 p.m. Concertgoers are asked to respect posted residential parking permit restrictions out of consideration for the neighborhoods surrounding the Denver Botanic Gardens and to use environmentally-friendly transportation options, including carpooling, free shuttles at National Jewish Medical and Research Center, bicycling, public transportation and walking.

Free bicycle parking at the Denver Botanic Gardens will be provided by Bike Denver.

Free shuttles will run beginning at 6 p.m. between National Jewish Medical and Research Center and the Denver Botanic Gardens. Free parking is available in the National Jewish Medical and Research Center west parking lot, 1400 Jackson St.

Free parking is available at Cheesman Park and Congress Park, walking distance from the Denver Botanic Gardens RTD routes 10, 24 and 6 serve the Denver Botanic Gardens.

  • Entertainment provided by the Hazel Miller Band, Opie Gone Bad and the Denver Municipal Band
