and Larry Left Hand Bull
, will join the Mayor’s previous appointee David Montez
. The PSRC is charged with reviewing, evaluating and recommending changes to policies, practices, rules and procedures of the Police and Sheriffs departments. It makes recommendations regarding the promotion of positive police-community relations and regarding specific complaints, as well as reviews investigations conducted by the police and sheriffs departments. The police review task force is currently reviewing the scope and responsibilities of this Commission. George Anna Chapman

Once approved by City Council, his appointment will be effective immediately and will expire on December 31, 2005.
They will join David Montez, whom Mayor Hickenlooper appointed to the PSRC in late December 2003 to a term that expires on December 31, 2007. David Montez
is the events and publications coordinator for the Latino/a Research and Policy Center at the University of Colorado-Denver. He is a current participant in Leadership Denver and active with the Human Rights Campaign’s Colorado chapter.
