Inaugural Ceremony & Celebration of Denver Mayor Bill Vidal Set for Wednesday, Jan. 12 at 11 a.m.

DENVER, CO ­— January 12, 2011—The Denver community is invited to attend the inauguration and celebration for Guillermo (Bill) V. Vidal, the 44th Mayor of Denver, today, Wednesday, January 12, 2011. The event will take place at 11 a.m. with open seating beginning at 10:30 a.m. in the atrium of the Wellington E. Webb Municipal Office Building at 201 East Colfax Ave.

No invitation is needed to attend; the event is free and open to the public, however space is limited. Denver 8 Television will broadcast the event live on Comcast Channel 8 and live-stream the speech at www.DenverGov.org. Replays of the event will be available for viewing on January 12 at 6:30 p.m. and 10 p.m., and on January 13 at 11:30 a.m., 3:00 p.m., 7:00 p.m. and 9 p.m. Please check Denver 8’s viewing schedule online for additional times.
