Public input sought on new housing plan to address housing priorities for the City and County of Denver
The Denver Office of Economic Development (OED) will hold a public meeting to address the development of a new citywide housing plan, on March 20, 2014, at 5 p.m., at the Wellington Webb Building, 201 W. Colfax Ave., room 4.F.6/4.G.2.
The housing plan will address the full range of housing needs facing the city, including affordable housing for very low and low-income populations, workforce housing, and programs supporting first-time buyers. The OED is drafting the plan with direction and review from the Mayor’s Housing Advisory Committee, which convened in 2013. Additionally, the plan will be guided by the Mayor's Housing Task Force Recommendations that were adopted by Mayor Michael B. Hancock in December 2012.
Space is limited, therefore registration is required by emailing OEDEventsRSVP@denvergov.org by March 17. Sign language interpretation and language translation is available at the meeting with advance notice of at least five business days.
