Denver solicits proposals for Housing, Neighborhood and Business projects

Office of Economic Development issues notice of funding availability for 2012 funding to support housing, neighborhood and business development

The Denver Office of Economic Development (OED) announces its issuance of three Notices of Funding Availability (NOFA) for projects to be funded in 2012. OED is soliciting proposals for housing development, housing services, neighborhood development, neighborhood services, and economic/business development and services.

OED is seeking exceptional projects and related services that make a positive impact on neighborhoods in a noticeable way. The NOFA makes available public funds that could be used by non-profit and for-profit providers to facilitate the development of viable urban neighborhoods by providing quality affordable housing, an enhanced living environment and expanded economic opportunities for low- and moderate-income residents. Programs are funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnerships and Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS programs.

Each NOFA is available online at Denvergov.org/oed. Completed applications are due by July 19, 2011, at 4 p.m.

2012 NOFA
The deadline has been extended for submitting completed applications for 2012 NOFA funding. Completed applications must be received by 4 p.m. on Friday, July 22, 2011.
