Metro study provides roadmap to the region’s workforce groups

The Denver Office of Economic Development and the Workforce Board of Metro Denver today released a regional workforce supply and demand study. Titled the 2007 Denver Regional Workforce Gap Analysis, the study provides a comprehensive workforce profile and identifies major occupational gaps through 2011 for the nine-county Denver metro region.

DIA Career Fair To Be Held August 17

In an effort to fill over 300 positions at Denver International Airport (DIA), airport businesses have partnered with the Denver Office of Economic Development (OED) to host a career fair on Friday, August 17, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the DIA Pressroom on the sixth floor of the main terminal.

Program Offers Stable, Conventional Fixed-Rate Mortgages

The Denver Office of Economic Development and the Metro Mayors Caucus are proud to announce an extension of the popular Metro Mortgage Assistance first-time homebuyers program. First-time homebuyers in many parts of the Denver metro area can now get a 4% down payment assistance grant and 6.59% 30-year fixed rate mortgage through the program.
