Annual DogaPooLooza- Swimming with the Dogs

Help your pooch escape the dog days of summer by taking them for a swim at Berkeley Park or Cook Park Pools Aug. 16, 2009 at the City & County of Denver’s annual DogaPOOLooza event. Sponsored by Denver Parks & Recreation, Denver Environmental Health Animal Care & Control, DogaPOOLooza takes place the day after pools close for the summer to human swimmers.

Weekday Closures set for Mount Evans Highway
This is the official word from CDOT. Forest Service will staff Mt. Evans Friday - Monday only once the construction begins.  CDOT has said they will have an attendant stationed at the gate.  DBG docents will be allowed to go up to do their flower hikes on Mt. Goliath, the nature center will not be open. Construction will run through July 30th, 2009. The road will be open on weekends. Read more
