Buffalo Bill Museum: Mountain Melodies Music Festival -- August 10
Buffalo Bill Museum: Mountain Melodies Music Festival -- August 10
For the past few years the Mountain Melodies Music Festival hosts a great lineup of local musicians. In addition to Grubstake several other groups will appear, including: Gobs O' Phun, The Uptown Relics and the Blue Canyon Brothers.

Festival-goers are invited into the Buffalo Bill Museum, where they can learn more about the life of Buffalo Bill Cody through exhibits, videos and hands-on interactive displays. Admission is $3 adults, $2 seniors (65+) and $1 for children (ages 6-15).

The Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave is located in Lookout Mountain Park, one of Denver Parks and Recreation's flagship attractions just west of the city. It is located on Lookout Mountain Road in Golden, Colorado. It is one of this area's most spectacular scenic overlooks, with clear views of the Continental Divide, Pikes Peak, the Denver skyline and the Northern front range. These sweeping views are what inspired Buffalo Bill Cody to request Lookout Mountain as his final resting place.

This event is sponsored by the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD) and Denver Parks and Recreation.
