 Parks and People Partnership

   Welcome to Parks and People Partnership

Your participation in the Parks and People Partnership Program will assist Denver Parks and Recreation in achieving its commitment to provide equitable funding, management and maintenance for all parks. Thank you for your continued commitment to promoting and protecting parks and open spaces in Denver, Colorado! Through the monthly assessment of our system, you will be able to communicate the condition of amenities, fields, gardens, and other critical resources to management, staff, and the public.

The final 2006 is linked below.  Please feel free to review the information from your all your hard work!

Parks and People Partnership Goals

• Promote awareness about the importance of parks as vital to the quality of life and essential for the strengthening of communities;

• Serve as an independent commission that conducts research and collaborates to produce an equitable and efficient parks system;

• Promote public discussion and engagement regarding the best practices for funding, maintenance, design, and management of Denver's park system;

• Establish a link between park conditions and Department resources in order to improve resource allocation;

• Work toward creating a nationally recognized model for dynamic public parks and open spaces.
