Compensatory Time Payout scheduled for April 24, 2015 paycheck

The CS rule regarding compensatory (comp) time (Career Service Rule 9-100, A, 2-a) states that “All accrued compensatory time shall be used by March 31st or paid out in cash by the final pay period of April of that year”. Any comp time balance as of the end of the day, Monday, March 31st will automatically be moved to the Comp Time Payout bank for payment processing.

Daylight Saving Time Notice

It will soon be time to "spring forward". Daylight Saving Time begins on Sunday, March 8, 2015, at 2 AM. If you work overnight on Saturday, March 7th, you will physically work 1 hour less due to the time change. Please speak with your supervisor about working an additional hour; using an hour of leave time; or receiving an hour of unpaid time.

Parking for city business now reimbursed through employee paychecks

Supervisors should begin entering parking reimbursement on the employee’s timecard instead of reimbursing for parking through petty cash or Accounts Payable. The Parking Reimbursement pay code will appear for all employees, but the code will only be active for those who have turned in their completed City Business Vehicle Request and Status Change Form. Employees must obtain and submit a parking receipt within 30 calendar days of the receipt date to their supervisors for entry/approval on their timecards. Parking receipts must be maintained by the department/agency and available for review, for seven years.

City Business Vehicle Request and Status Change Form due annually by June 15th

Any officer or employee who operates a City-owned or leased vehicle or uses his/her personal vehicle while conducting City business must annually submit a City Business Vehicle Request and Status Change Form (CBVR).

Electronic Form W-2 for tax year 2014 Now Available
January 16, 2015 (102 reads)

If you have a user ID to sign in to DOT, your form W-2 for tax year 2014 is now available. You must sign in to your account to retrieve your information.
