Credit card fraud group arrested

On November 21, 2011, Denver Police responded to the Oxford Hotel (1600 17th Street) on a call of a credit card fraud case. The hotel was able to determine that a group of guests that had checked into the hotel on 11/19/11 were using fraudulent credit cards. Financial Crimes Detectives responded and were able to determine that the suspects (whom had traveled to Denver via a bus from Florida) had used the credit cards at numerous downtown Denver merchants – charging thousands of dollars worth of fraudulent transactions.

Three suspects were identified and arrested:
Jerome Holt (1-28-87)
Anthony Clifton Sykes (8-1-84)
Michael Johnson (4-18-92)

Investigators believe it is likely that these suspects were involved in additional fraudulent transactions all along their route from Florida to Colorado. Detectives are still looking for an additional suspect. Described as a 6’0, 200 lb., black, transgender party using the name Jaquelyn Hughes
