Two arrested in South Quieto / Raritan alley homicide

Two individuals have been arrested in connection with this homicide. The adult male has been identified as Jamie Valdiviezo-Perera (D.O.B. 04/10/73). The juvenile suspect information is not being released at this time.

Previous news release on June 16, 2012:

Denver Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found during the early morning hours in South Denver.

On Saturday, June 16, 2012 at approximately 6:11 a.m., members of the Denver Police Department responded to the 1200 block alley of South Quieto Way and South Raritan Street on the report of a body found lying in the alley. When officers arrived, they located the body of a male victim who had apparently suffered gunshot wounds. It appears, at this early stage of the investigation, that the victim’s body may have been placed in the alley sometime after the crime was committed.

This incident is being investigated as a homicide. Additional information will be released pending further investigation.

The cause of death and identity of the victim will be released by the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner.
