The Denver Police Department and Chief Robert C. White would like to express our gratitude to the community and the media for their kindness in the wake of this tragic situation. The family and the Denver Police Department have received numerous cards, e-mails, and other expressions of care, concern and sympathy.
We have been working with the family of Officer Celena Hollis on her funeral arrangements.
The public viewing will be Friday, June 29, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Horan and McConaty located at 11150 E. Dartmouth Avenue, Denver, Colorado 80014.
The service will take place Saturday, June 30, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at Denver First Church of the Nazarene, 3800 E. Hampden Avenue, Cherry Hills Village , Colorado 80113. At this time Law Enforcement Officers as far away as Detroit Michigan and Dallas Texas are attending the service. We expect there will be thousands of Law Enforcement Officers from the Metro Area and across the state. The service is open to the public.
The Internment will directly follow the service at Fairmount Cemetery located at 430 S. Quebec Street, Denver, Colorado, 80247.
We are asking the community to show their support by lining the funeral procession route. Download the procession map. The procession will be comprised of Law Enforcement vehicles from all over the state.

- PROCESSION EXITS THE DENVER FIRST CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE AND PROCEEDS EAST ON HAMPDEN AVE. TO S. TAMARAC DR.
- NORTH ON S. TAMARAC DR. (WHICH BECOMES S. QUEBEC ST.)
- PROCESSION CONCLUDES AT THE QUEBEC ST. MAIN ENTRANCE TO FAIRMOUNT CEMETERY
