Denver Police investigate shooting death

On Saturday, September 8, 2012, at approximately 9:40 p.m., members of the Denver Police Department were called to 1160 South Navajo Street on the report of a shooting. 

When officers arrived on scene, they discovered a male party suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.  The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.  

There is no suspect description available at this time. The identity of the victim will be released by the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner.
